Research
Melissa's research explored culturally enhanced ways for teaching literacy. Her research concluded that participants had undertaken subversive approaches in the teaching of literacy in addition to following the normal literacy routine and syllabus material.
Melissa had not shared own own teaching practices in her research, she Self-Published a book in 2023 "Kinship Ways For Teaching foundational Literacy" that highlights Melissa' thinking and Ways of doings. She shares her own teaching methods in her online courses and books. You will see Melissa' thinking.
